Metric vs Imperial: Which Countries Use What
Only three countries do not officially use the metric system: the United States, Liberia, and Myanmar. The UK uses a hybrid system — road distances in miles, body weight in stones and pounds, but scientific measurements in metric. Canada officially uses metric but many Canadians still use imperial for body measurements.

Temperature Conversion Formulas
Celsius to Fahrenheit: multiply by 9/5 then add 32. Fahrenheit to Celsius: subtract 32 then multiply by 5/9. Celsius to Kelvin: add 273.15. Kelvin is used in scientific contexts where negative temperatures are not possible.
